Disney decided to turn the concept of this hit movie, directed by Shawn Levy, into a series. The company, which announced that it had started work thereafter, had remained silent about the project for a while. Fortunately, there has been an exciting new development regarding the Real Steel series.
Work continues for the Real Steel series
Collider interviewed Shawn Levy, the director of the Real Steel series, at the CinemaCon event held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Levy stated that a team of scriptwriters had recently been hired for the highly anticipated series. Accordingly, we can say that the work for the construction is still continuing.
As you can guess , there is no date yet for the Real Steel series, which will be added to the Disney + library as soon as it is released . At this point, predictions show the coming years. As a result, it seems there is nothing to do but wait for now.
The film was developed on a budget of $110 million and grossed $299.3 million worldwide. Thus, the production became the 21st highest-grossing film of 2011. Real Steel , which was added to the Netflix library in November 2023 after a long time, made its name among the most watched movies on the platform.
